What are DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD

To facilitate industry's understanding on certain areas of interpretation of this very complex Directive, DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD is actively participating in the two working groups of the Commission that, together with Member States, are adopting guidelines relating to the implementation of the requirements of the PED.DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD is also managing its own "PED Working Group", which brings together not only member associations, but also representatives of European of European associations of different industrial sectors (including users). DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD 's PED group convenes regularly to discuss specific industry positions on PED.
In 1999, DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD issued a practical guide to the PED in
English, French and German. The guide contains several forms giving concrete guidance regarding the interpretations of the PED.
The Guidelines forms are regularly revised in response to the progress in the working groups of the Commission, the most updated versions are instead made directly available at the Commission’s special website for the PED. There are almost 200 Guidelines. Some guidelines have not been adopted by the Commission's working group but have been agreed upon by industry. These guidelines are part of the DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD PED guide available on the DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD website.
One of the problems faced by industry in the practical application of the Directive has been the lack of so-called European Approval of Materials (EAM). DUSSEL ZERTIFIZIERUNG STANDARD TECHNICAL TESTING LTD  produced in a joint Commission-Industry project, 30 new EAMs. They can be found on the Commissions official PED website.
Latest Positions on PED
In view of the recent discussions both in the Commission and the Council regarding simplification of legislation and the proposal to merge the simple pressure vessel Directive into the PED Orgalime has written a position paper stating that we are against a merger of the two Directives, as we do not see it as a simplification of legislation. It will cause an administrative burden for European companies and have a negative impact on their competitiveness.
