	New Requirement of Lithium-ion

	Lithium-ion batteries will be covered by the Category B, circle PSE from Nov. 20, 2008. Lithium-ion batteries (limited to those consisting of secondary cell of which energy density is not less than 400Wh/L, e.g. used for portable device, desk-top and etc. But excluding those used for automobiles, motorcycles, medical appliances, indus- trial appliances, and those designed to fix to appliances by soldering or other joining methods so that it cannot be easily removed, or those having other special construction)
